UNN Releases 2025/2026 Direct Entry & JUPEB Admission Lists

The management of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) has officially released the Direct Entry and JUPEB admission lists for the 2025/2026 academic session. Candidates who applied for admission through the Direct Entry or JUPEB programme can now check their admission status and proceed with the next registration steps as directed by the university.

The announcement marks a major milestone for thousands of candidates who participated in the UNN Direct Entry/JUPEB admission process, signaling the start of a new academic journey at one of Nigeria’s top universities.

 How to Check UNN Direct Entry & JUPEB Admission List

Candidates can access the full admission list through the official UNN portal.

 Important Steps for All Admitted Candidates

All admitted candidates are required to follow the steps below carefully to complete their admission process:

  1. Upload Your O’Level Results:
    • Candidates must urgently upload their O’Level results on the JAMB CAPS portal via an accredited JAMB CBT centre.
    • Admission processing will not proceed until the upload is completed.
  2. Change of Course (If Applicable):
    • Candidates admitted into a different course from their original JAMB choice should log in to JAMB CAPS and apply for a Change of Course to the one recommended by UNN.
    • After changing, print and submit your updated admission status to the UNN Admissions Office for verification.
  3. Accept Admission on JAMB CAPS:
    • Visit the JAMB portal and click “Accept Admission” under CAPS.
    • Those who fail to accept their admission on CAPS will not be issued a JAMB Admission Letter and will be considered not admitted.
  4. Pay Acceptance Fee:
    • Log in to UNN Portal or unn.edu.ng and generate a Payment Invoice using your JAMB Registration Number.
    • Pay the ₦30,000 acceptance fee at any commercial bank or UNN Microfinance Bank using your Remita number.
    • Obtain a confirmation slip containing your confirmation and invoice numbers.
  5. Complete Acceptance Form & Registration:
    • Return to the UNN portal, log in with your details, print your Admission Slip, and complete the Acceptance Form online.
    • Proceed with other registration requirements as stated on the portal.

 Important Note

All admissions are provisional. If it is later discovered that a candidate does not meet the minimum entry requirements as approved by the UNN Senate and published in the JAMB Brochure, the admission offer will be withdrawn, even if the student is in their final year.

Candidates are strongly advised to verify their academic details carefully before proceeding.
