The University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) has officially released the Direct Entry and JUPEB admission lists for the 2025/2026 academic session. Candidates who applied for admission through either of these programmes can now check their admission status and begin their registration process without delay.
The released lists contain the names of candidates offered provisional admission into various undergraduate programmes at the prestigious institution.
To view the full list, visit the official UNN Direct Entry/JUPEB Admission List Portal or the UNN admission section of the university’s website.
Steps for Successfully Admitted Candidates
All candidates who have been offered provisional admission are expected to complete the following registration steps promptly to secure their spots at UNN.
1. Upload Your O’Level Results
Candidates who have not uploaded their O’Level (WAEC/NECO) results on the JAMB portal must do so immediately at any JAMB-accredited CBT centre. Failure to upload results will prevent verification and may lead to forfeiture of admission.
2. Change of Course (If Applicable)
If you have been offered admission into a different course from the one you originally applied for, visit a JAMB CBT centre to apply for a Change of Course.
After making the change, print your updated admission status on JAMB CAPS and submit it to the UNN Admissions Office for validation.
3. Accept Your Admission on JAMB CAPS
Next, log in to the JAMB CAPS portal to accept your admission.
Candidates who fail to accept the offer will not receive their official JAMB Admission Letter, which means their admission will be considered invalid.
4. Payment of Acceptance Fee
All admitted candidates are required to pay a non-refundable acceptance fee of ₦30,000 (Thirty Thousand Naira).
To make the payment:
- Visit the UNN student portal.
- Log in with your JAMB registration number to generate a payment invoice (with a Remita number).
- Pay at any commercial bank or UNN Microfinance Bank using the invoice number.
- Obtain a confirmation slip with your invoice and confirmation numbers.
5. Print Admission Slip & Complete Acceptance Form
After payment, return to the portal to log in using your JAMB registration number, confirmation number, and invoice number.
Print your admission slip and complete the online acceptance form as part of your onboarding process.
6. Registration and Further Payments
After completing the acceptance process, proceed to pay other required school fees and complete all registration steps as directed on the UNN website.
Please note that all admissions remain provisional. Any candidate who fails to meet the Senate-approved entry requirements as specified in the JAMB Brochure will have their admission withdrawn.
Final Note
The University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) congratulates all newly admitted students through the Direct Entry and JUPEB programmes.
Students are advised to complete their registration early and prepare for an enriching academic experience at one of Nigeria’s leading universities.
