The Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), Awka, has officially announced the commencement of its Pre-Degree Programme admission for the 2025/2026 academic session.
This programme is designed to prepare candidates for admission into undergraduate degree programmes at UNIZIK and other universities. The duration of the programme is six (6) months.
Admission Requirements
To qualify for admission into the UNIZIK Pre-Degree Programme, applicants must possess a minimum of five (5) O’Level credits, including:
- English Language and Mathematics (compulsory for all candidates), and
- Three additional relevant subjects, depending on the intended course of study.
Subject Combinations:
- For Science-based Courses: Chemistry, Physics, Biology, or Agricultural Science.
- For Non-Science Courses: Economics, Government, Literature-in-English, and Christian Religious Studies (CRS).
Accepted examination results include SSCE, NECO, GCE, and NABTEB — obtained in not more than two sittings.

The application form costs ₦15,000 (Fifteen Thousand Naira only), payable online through the official UNIZIK portal.
