The management of Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), Awka, has officially commenced the 2025/2026 admission process for prospective undergraduate students. This marks an exciting phase for thousands of candidates who participated in the recent Post-UTME screening exercise and have been eagerly waiting for updates on their admission status.
According to information from reliable university sources, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has started uploading the first batch of admission offers for UNIZIK candidates on the Central Admission Processing System (CAPS). Therefore, all applicants are strongly advised to check their JAMB CAPS regularly to confirm their admission status.
To check your admission status, visit the JAMB e-facility portal, log in with your registered email and password, select “Check Admission Status,” and click on “Access My CAPS.” Once your dashboard opens, click “Admission Status” to see if you have been offered admission.
Candidates offered provisional admission should accept their offer immediately through CAPS and proceed to print their JAMB Admission Letter. Those who are yet to see any update are encouraged to remain patient, as the admission process is ongoing and will be released in batches.
Additionally, candidates are reminded to ensure that their O’Level results are correctly uploaded on the JAMB portal. Failure to do so may delay or affect admission processing.
The university congratulates all newly admitted students and assures others still waiting that subsequent lists including merit, supplementary, and direct entry will be released soon.
As the process continues, students are advised to monitor both the UNIZIK official portal and their JAMB profiles for timely updates.
The journey to becoming a proud UNIZIK student has begun stay alert, stay hopeful, and don’t miss your chance to secure your spot.
