University of Abuja (UNIABUJA) Post-UTME/DE Screening 2025: Cut-off Marks, Eligibility, and Registration Guidelines

The University of Abuja wishes to inform all candidates who applied for admission into the institution for the 2025/2026 academic session either through UTME or Direct Entry (DE) that the Post-UTME/DE screening registration will begin on Thursday, 14th August 2025, and end on Friday, 5th September 2025.

Important:
Only candidates who successfully register for the screening will be considered for admission. Failure to participate in the registration process will result in disqualification.

Eligibility Criteria

For UTME Candidates:

  1. Must have scored 180 or above in the 2025 UTME.
  2. Must meet the departmental cut-off mark for their chosen programme. (Click here to view faculty-specific cut-off marks.)
  3. Must possess a minimum of five (5) O’Level credits, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in no more than two sittings.
  4. Must upload their O’Level results to the JAMB portal.

For Direct Entry Candidates:

  1. Must possess a recognized qualification such as NCE, ND, HND, IJMB, or a First Degree.
  2. Candidates with JUPEB or NABTEB A’Level results are not eligible for this screening.
  3. All DE applicants must upload their A’Level results on the JAMB portal for verification.
  4. Applicants must be at least 16 years old as of 30th September 2025.
  5. All candidates must ensure their UTME/DE subject combinations align with their chosen course requirements.

How to Apply for UNIABUJA Post-UTME/DE Screening 2025

  1. Visit the University of Abuja portal at https://portal.uniabuja.edu.ng and click on “Click here to apply.”
  2. Select the “Undergraduate” option on the left panel.
  3. Enter your JAMB Registration Number and click “Get Details.”
  4. Provide your personal information, including a valid email address and phone number.
  5. Make a non-refundable payment of ₦2,000:
    • Generate a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR).
    • Make payment using any preferred method (bank, ATM, USSD, online platforms).
    • Enter the OTP sent to your phone/email to confirm and complete your payment.
  6. Log in to your dashboard using your JAMB Registration Number and surname to finish your registration.
  7. After completing the registration, print your application form and keep it for future reference.

Additional Notes

  • If you wish to change your course or programme, ensure the change is done officially through the JAMB portal.
  • Candidates are warned against engaging in admission racketeering. Any involvement in fraudulent admission practices will lead to automatic disqualification.
