The Basic Studies (JUPEB) programme offers candidates a unique opportunity to gain admission into various undergraduate programmes without the need for JAMB UTME. On successful completion, students will be considered for 200 level admission through JAMB Direct Entry into the following faculties:

Admission Requirements
Applicants must possess a minimum of five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained at not more than two sittings in SSCE/WASSCE, GCE O’Level, NECO, or NABTEB.
Please note:
- Admission into the programme is through a Computer-Based Screening Test (CBT).
- JAMB score is not required for admission into this programme.
- UTME candidates for 2025 may also apply, but there will be no supplementary admission after this application closes.
Method of Application
Candidates are expected to pay a non-refundable application fee of ₦15,500 via the Remita Payment Platform.
Steps to Apply:

- Select Basic Studies Link and click on Create Account.
- Enter your details and click Create Account.
- Click on Make Payment.
- Choose either Bank Option (generate an invoice and pay at any commercial bank) or Card Option (pay online).
- After payment, return to the portal and log in with your Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) to complete registration.
Note:
- The passport photograph uploaded during application will be used throughout the admission process.
- Wrong bio-data or blank passport upload will lead to automatic disqualification.
- The same procedure applies for all subsequent fee payments after admission.
