UNIMAID

The University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) has officially activated its admission portal for newly admitted students to print their admission letters for the 2025/2026 academic session.

According to a notice issued by the Office of the Registrar, the portal became accessible on Friday, 2 January 2026. This update applies to candidates admitted through both UTME and Direct Entry (DE) modes.

Only candidates who have confirmed their admission status and meet the university’s conditions will be able to access and print their letters.

Who Is Eligible to Print the UNIMAID Admission Letter?

UNIMAID has made it clear that only candidates who selected the University of Maiduguri as their first choice during JAMB registration are eligible to print the admission letter.

In addition, candidates must have already confirmed their admission status on the portal. Attempting to download the letter without confirmation may result in access issues.

Check Your Details Carefully

Candidates are strongly advised to verify all personal and admission information displayed on the portal. Errors or skipped steps may cause complications during registration and clearance.

Taking time to review details now can prevent unnecessary delays later.

Admission Status Remains Provisional

The university has emphasized that all admissions are provisional. Final acceptance depends on:

  • Meeting all admission requirements
  • Successful document verification
  • Completion of the university clearance process

Candidates who fail to meet any requirement risk losing their admission.
