UNILAG Welcomes Newly Admitted Students
The University of Lagos (UNILAG) has officially congratulated all newly admitted candidates for the 2025/2026 academic session through the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE).
In line with the university’s admission policy, UNILAG announced that the mandatory toxicology screening exercise for all new students will take place from Wednesday, November 12 to Friday, November 21, 2025, between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
The exercise will be held at the Jelili Adebisi Omotola (Multipurpose) Hall, University of Lagos, Akoka.
Required Documents for Toxicology Screening
All newly admitted students are expected to bring the following documents to the screening venue:
- UTME/Direct Entry Candidate’s Biodata Page
- Printout of Evidence of Payment for Toxicology Screening
Failure to present these documents may result in disqualification from the registration process.
How to Pay for Toxicology Screening
To make the required payment for the toxicology test, candidates should follow these steps:
- Visit the official UNILAG Student Portal via https://studentportal.unilag.edu.ng
- Log in using:
- Username: JAMB Application Number
- Password: Surname in lowercase letters
- Username: JAMB Application Number
- Follow the prompts to complete the payment process.
- Save and print your payment receipt this will be required for verification at the screening venue.
Important Notice
UNILAG emphasized that the toxicology screening result is a mandatory requirement for the upcoming screening and registration exercise.
Only students who successfully complete this stage will be cleared for registration.
