The University of Benin (UNIBEN) has officially released the results of the Post-UTME screening exercise for the 2025/2026 academic session. This announcement is particularly important for all prospective students who participated in the recently concluded screening exercise, as their scores will determine their eligibility for admission into the institution’s various undergraduate programmes.
The release of results marks a crucial step in the admission process, providing candidates with an opportunity to know their performance and prepare for the next phase. Applicants are therefore encouraged to check their results promptly and ensure that their details are correctly updated on both the UNIBEN portal and the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Central Admission Processing System (CAPS).
How to Check UNIBEN Post-UTME Screening Results
Candidates who participated in the screening can easily access their results online by following these steps:
- Visit the UNIBEN Post-UTME result portal at https://uniben.waeup.org/login.
- Log in using the credentials provided during your online screening registration. These login details were also sent to your registered email (Gmail) account via the KOFA platform.
- After logging in, scroll down to the Application Process Information section.
- Your screening score and aggregate score will be displayed automatically on the page.
It is advisable for candidates to print out their result for record purposes, as it may be required during the clearance and admission process.
Next Steps for Candidates
Candidates who meet the required cut-off mark for their chosen courses stand a higher chance of being considered for admission. However, admission is strictly based on merit and other regulatory guidelines set by JAMB and the university. Students are also advised to continually monitor their admission status on JAMB CAPS to either accept or reject offers when made.
For any issues related to accessing the result, candidates can reach out to the university’s ICT support through the portal.
The University of Benin wishes all candidates the best as they await the next phase of the admission process.
