Umaru Musa Yar’adua University (UMYUK), Katsina, invites suitably qualified candidates to participate in its 2025/2026 Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) screening exercise.
Who Can Apply?
- UTME candidates: Must have chosen UMYUK as their first choice and scored the approved cut-off mark for their chosen programme.
- DE candidates: Must have also selected UMYUK as their first choice and will undergo online screening only (no physical appearance required).
- Candidates with correct UTME subject combinations will be eligible for registration.
- Awaiting result candidates may also apply.

Important Dates
- Registration Opens: Friday, 29th August 2025
- Registration Closes: Thursday, 25th September 2025
- Aptitude Test Date: Indicated on each applicant’s registration slip
Documents to Upload
During the online registration, candidates must upload:
- UTME candidates: 2025 JAMB Result Slip
- DE candidates: 2025 JAMB Registration Slip + A’ Level Results (Diploma, IJMB, NCE, etc.)
- O’ Level Result(s)
- Valid Identification (Indigene Letter, National ID Card, International Passport, etc.)
Payment & Fees
- Screening fee: ₦2,000.00 only (all charges inclusive)
- Payment must be made via the options provided on the UMYUK Post-UTME Portal
Aptitude Test & Screening Process
- UTME candidates: Must appear with their payment slips and submit hard copies of credentials at the test venue.
- DE candidates: Submit hard copies of credentials to the Office of the Registrar after online registration.
- Special needs candidates (as identified by JAMB): Exempted from the aptitude test but must submit hard copies of credentials to the Registrar’s Office.
