UAST Ilugh Announces Commencement of Undergraduate Admissions
The University of Agriculture, Science and Technology (UAST), Ilugh, Benue State, has officially announced the commencement of its undergraduate admission process for the 2025/2026 academic session.
The management invites all suitably qualified candidates who participated in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and met the required cut-off marks to apply for admission into various accredited degree programmes offered by the university.
How to Apply for UAST 2025/2026 Undergraduate Admission
All interested applicants are to follow the outlined steps below to complete their admission process:
- Change of Institution:
Visit any JAMB CBT Centre or JAMB Office to change your institution of choice to UAST, Ilugh on the JAMB CAPS portal. - Upload O’Level Results:
Ensure that your SSCE/NECO/NABTEB results are correctly uploaded on the JAMB CAPS portal. - Visit the UAST Admissions Portal:
Go to https://portal.bsuast.edu.ng to begin your Post-UTME registration. - Upload Documents:
Upload a recent passport photograph, O’Level results, and UTME result slip as part of your application. - Pay Screening Fee:
Make a non-refundable Post-UTME screening payment of ₦2,000 through the portal. - Print Acknowledgment Slip:
After successful payment and registration, print your screening acknowledgment slip for verification and record purposes.
UAST Cut-Off Marks for 2025/2026 Admission

| Medical Laboratory Science | 160 and above |
| Human Nutrition & Dietetics | 160 and above |
| Complementary & Alternative Medicine | 160 and above |
| All Other Programmes (Agriculture, Engineering, Environmental Science, Management, Education, etc.) | 150 and above |
Candidates are strongly advised to select programmes aligned with their JAMB subject combinations and SSCE qualifications to avoid disqualification.

The National Universities Commission (NUC) has accredited several undergraduate programmes at UAST Ilugh. These include, but are not limited to:
- Agricultural Economics & Farm Management
- Animal Science
- Computer Science
- Software Engineering
- Industrial Chemistry
- Microbiology
- Biotechnology
- Nursing Science
- Medical Laboratory Science
- Environmental Management & Toxicology
- Public Health
- Human Nutrition and Dietetics
All programmes require five (5) O’Level credits, including English Language and Mathematics, plus three relevant subjects related to the candidate’s field of study.
Important Notes for All Applicants
- All admissions will be processed strictly through the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).
- Candidates must ensure their O’Level results are uploaded to JAMB CAPS before final admission consideration.
- Any false information or forged documents discovered during or after the admission process will lead to automatic disqualification and possible prosecution.
