TASUED Unveils Full Programme for 17th Convocation Ceremony

The Tai Solarin Federal University of Education (TASUED), Ijagun, Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State, has officially released the programme of activities for its 17th Convocation Ceremony, which will take place from Friday, 23 January to Thursday, 29 January 2026.

The announcement was issued on behalf of the university’s Governing Council, Senate, Management, Staff, and Students by the Acting Vice-Chancellor, Professor Adekunle Olarenwaju Adegun (FISN), and conveyed through the Office of the Registrar and Secretary to Council, Mr. Sunday Oladapo Oke.

The convocation will feature the award of higher degrees, first degrees, diplomas, honorary doctorate degrees (Honoris Causa), as well as the formal induction of graduates into the university’s alumni body.

Academic Gown Collection and Payment Details

Gown Fee

All graduands are required to pay a non-refundable fee of ₦10,000 for the use of academic gowns.

Payment Procedure

Graduands should:

  1. Visit www.mytasu.ed.ng
  2. Log into the student portal
  3. Make payment using Visa or MasterCard only
  4. Print the payment receipt

Gown Collection

  • Receipts must be endorsed at the University Bursary
  • Gowns and invitation cards will be available for collection from 20 to 27 January 2026
  • The collection points are the respective Colleges or Postgraduate College
  • Collection by proxy is not allowed

Deadline for Returning Academic Gowns

All academic gowns must be returned on or before Wednesday, 4 February 2026 to the appropriate College Officer or the Secretary of the Postgraduate College.

Penalty for Late Return

Failure to return gowns on time will attract a ₦1,000 daily fine for each day of delay.
