The management of the State University of Medical and Applied Sciences (SUMAS), Enugu, has officially released the admission list for the 2025/2026 academic session. Candidates who participated in the recent admission screening exercise can now check their admission status online through the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS).
How to Check Your SUMAS Admission Status on JAMB CAPS
Follow these steps to confirm your admission status:
- Visit the official JAMB eFacility portal: https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng
- Log in using your registered email address and password.
- Click on “Check Admission Status.”
- Select “Access my CAPS.”
- Click on “Admission Status” to see if you have been offered admission.
Once your admission is confirmed, your profile picture and a congratulatory message will appear. If you have not been admitted yet, the system will display: “Sorry, no admission has been given yet.”
What Next After Admission?
- If admitted, accept or reject your admission by sending ACCEPT or REJECT to 55019 or 66019 using the phone number linked to your JAMB profile.
- You have four weeks to accept your admission offer. Candidates without access to their registered phone numbers should visit a JAMB-accredited centre to complete this step.
- After accepting, print your JAMB admission letter, as it will be required for clearance and registration at SUMAS.
Important Note for Mobile Users
If you are using a phone and cannot see the Admission Status option, switch your browser to desktop mode (Google Chrome recommended). Tap the three dots at the top right corner and select “Request Desktop Site.”
