The management of Sokoto State University (SSU) has officially released the admission list for the 2025/2026 academic session. This announcement includes the names of candidates whose admissions have been approved by the university and verified on the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) portal.
All prospective students are hereby advised to check their admission status and accept their offer of admission through the JAMB CAPS portal as soon as possible.
How to Check SSU Admission Status 2025/2026
Candidates who applied for admission into Sokoto State University can confirm their admission status online by following these steps:
- Visit the JAMB e-Facility Portal: https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/
- Log in using your registered email address and password.
- Click on “Check Admission Status.”
- Select “Access my CAPS.”
- Click on “Admission Status” to see if you have been offered admission.
If you have been admitted, click “ACCEPT” to confirm your admission.
Alternative SMS Method for Accepting SSU Admission
Candidates can also accept their admission through SMS using their JAMB-registered phone number.
Note: Any candidate who fails to accept the admission within four (4) weeks from the date of approval will automatically forfeit their admission.
Important Information for Candidates Awaiting Admission
- Candidates who are yet to upload their O’Level (SSCE) results on the JAMB portal are strongly advised to do so immediately.
- Admission processing is still ongoing, so those who see “Admission in Progress” on their JAMB CAPS should remain patient and check back regularly.
