The ceremony, which formally admits newly enrolled undergraduate and postgraduate students into the institution, will now take place in mid-January 2026 instead of December 2025.

Following the latest update from the university authorities, the matriculation ceremony has been moved forward by one month, while other arrangements remain unchanged.

  • Time: 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

The previously announced date of Tuesday, 16 December 2025 is no longer valid.

How the Ceremony Will Be Conducted

To ensure orderliness and smooth coordination, the university will hold the matriculation in three separate batches, with each group assigned a specific time slot based on faculty affiliation.

Fresh students are expected to attend strictly within their designated batch period.

Faculty Groupings and Time Slots

First Session: 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

This session is for students from the following faculties (both undergraduate and postgraduate):

Second Session: 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Students in these faculties are scheduled for the second batch:

  • Agriculture
  • Basic Medical Sciences
  • Clinical Sciences

Final Session: 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.

The last batch will accommodate students from:

  • Technology
  • Computing Science and Engineering
  • Pharmacy
  • Social Sciences
  • Environmental Design and Management
