Misau College of Health Science and Technology (MICOHEST) has officially announced the start of applications for its 2026/2027 academic session. Interested candidates can begin submitting their applications online from Monday, March 23, 2026.

Courses Offered

The college is accepting applications into the following programmes:

• Junior Community Health Extension Worker (JCHEW)
• Community Health Extension Worker (CHEW – Fresh and Retrainee)
• Medical X-ray and Imaging Technology (XRT)
• Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
• Health Information Management (HIM)

Admission Criteria

JCHEW Applicants

To qualify, candidates must have:

• A minimum of three credits in:
  • English Language
  • Mathematics
  • Biology
• Plus passes in:
  • Chemistry
  • Physics
• Results must not exceed two sittings

CHEW, XRT, MLT & HIM Applicants

Applicants must possess:

• At least five credit passes, including:
  • English Language
  • Mathematics
  • Biology
  • Chemistry
  • Physics
• Results obtained in no more than two sittings

Direct Entry Pathway

• Candidates with a valid JCHEW qualification may be considered for direct admission into CHEW 200 level, provided they meet all required criteria

Note: Participation in an entrance examination is compulsory for all applicants.
