The management of Modibbo Adama University of Technology (MAUTECH), Yola, has released an important update for UTME candidates who are yet to be admitted for the 2025/2026 academic session.
This update follows the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB)’s extension of the admission deadline for all public institutions. In light of this, the MAUTECH Admission Office is advising applicants who have not been offered admission in over-subscribed programmes to change to other related courses with available admission spaces.
Important Notice to All MAUTECH Applicants
Candidates who are not yet admitted are strongly advised to verify that their O’Level results are correctly uploaded to their JAMB profile.
Students transferring from one course to another should also ensure that their O’Level results remain visible after completing their change of programme or transfer process on the JAMB portal.
Additionally, all staff and applicants handling admission requests must make sure that such transfers are made only to programmes with available spaces and that all necessary updates are done correctly before submission.
Programmes with Over-Subscription and Available Alternatives
The university has published a list of over-subscribed programmes and their recommended alternatives with open admission slots.

Deadline for Course Changes
All course transfers and changes must be completed on or before Thursday, 14th November 2025.
The university strongly advises candidates to act immediately to secure available spots before the deadline expires.
