Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY), Abeokuta, has released an important update for all candidates who received provisional admission for the 2025/2026 academic session. The institution has fixed a strict acceptance deadline and registration steps that every new student must follow to keep their admission active.
This directive ensures smooth documentation, early commencement of academics, and proper student record management.
Key Dates for MAPOLY Admission Acceptance
MAPOLY management has announced one critical deadline all admitted candidates must adhere to:
Final Deadline to Accept Admission: Friday, 21 November 2025
Additionally:
Start of Lectures (All Students Except SIWES): Monday, 10 November 2025
Any candidate who fails to accept their admission by the deadline will automatically lose the offer.
Who Must Follow This Notice?
This update applies to:
- All newly admitted students for the 2025/2026 session
- Candidates offered admission into any approved MAPOLY programme
- Students currently not on SIWES
(SIWES students follow a separate schedule in the academic calendar)
Step-by-Step Guide to Accept Your MAPOLY Admission
MAPOLY has outlined the following mandatory steps to secure your admission and complete registration.
1. Accept Your Admission Before the Deadline
Every admitted candidate must confirm their admission on or before Friday, 21 November 2025.
This includes:
- Logging in to the official MAPOLY admission portal
- Completing every stage of the acceptance process
- Ensuring no part of the acceptance remains incomplete
Failure to meet this deadline results in automatic forfeiture.
2. Check Your Dashboard for Clearance Updates
After accepting the offer, candidates are advised to monitor their online profile for clearance progress.
Clearance is approved by:
- The Head of Department (HOD)
- The School Officer
Only after both approvals will you be eligible to pay school fees.
3. Pay the Prescribed School Fees
Once fully cleared, candidates must proceed to pay the official school fees via MAPOLY-approved channels.
School fee payment:
- Confirms your readiness for academic activities
- Activates the next stage of registration
- Should be documented with proper proof of payment
4. Generate Your Matriculation Number
After fee payment is confirmed, the system will automatically generate a matriculation number, which serves as your official student identity.
This number is needed for:
- Class attendance
- Assignments and tests
- Examination scripts
- All academic records
Without a matric number, you are not recognised as a fully registered MAPOLY student.
What Happens If You Miss the Deadline?
If a candidate does not accept their offer by 21 November 2025, they will:
- Lose the provisional admission
- Be removed from final registration lists
- Need to seek new admission in a future session
MAPOLY strongly advises students to complete all steps early.
Lecture Updates & SIWES Students
According to MAPOLY’s academic calendar:
- Lectures have commenced since 10 November 2025
- All regular students are now in class
- SIWES students are exempted, as they are on field industrial training
Newly registered candidates should join classes immediately after completing their steps.
Rector’s Message to Students

- Stay focused academically
- Maintain discipline on and off campus
- Uphold the values and rules of the polytechnic
