The Lagos State University (LASU) has officially approved the start of First Semester examinations for the 2025/2026 academic session, bringing clarity to students preparing for assessments.
The approval was granted by the university’s Vice-Chancellor, Professor Ibiyemi Ibilola Olatunji-Bello, following internal academic deliberations.

According to the announcement, the first semester examinations will begin on:
Monday, 26 January 2026
All undergraduate students across faculties and schools are expected to prepare accordingly and take note of this timeline.
Course Registration Information to Follow
LASU management has indicated that details relating to course registration and examination eligibility will be released separately.
The Directorate of Information and Communication Technology (DICT) will provide official updates on:

- Examination access requirements

Faculties and College of Medicine Notified
The notice also directs the Provost of the Lagos State College of Medicine, as well as all Deans of Faculties and Schools, to acknowledge and implement the approved examination schedule.
