LASU Announces 2025/2026 Postgraduate Diploma in Hospital Administration & Management

The Lagos State University (LASU), in collaboration with LASU Consult Limited and the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), Ikeja, invites applications from qualified candidates for admission into the Postgraduate Diploma Programme in Hospital Administration and Management for the 2025/2026 academic session.

This programme aligns with LASU’s mission to deliver high-quality education and equip learners with the skills and knowledge required to manage both public and private healthcare institutions effectively. The initiative reflects the university’s commitment to bringing accessible, practical, and professional education closer to Lagosians and Nigerians at large.

Programme Overview

The Postgraduate Diploma in Hospital Administration and Management (PGDHAM) is a multi-disciplinary programme designed to build leadership, analytical, and managerial capabilities among professionals in healthcare and related sectors.

Duration: One (1) Academic Year
Application Fee: ₦10,000 (Ten Thousand Naira Only)

Admission Requirements

To qualify for admission, applicants must meet one of the following criteria:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree Holders:
    • Applicants with a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Medicine, Nursing, Public Health, Pharmacy, Humanities, or Social Sciences from recognized institutions.
    • Must have five (5) O’Level credits, including English Language and Mathematics.
  2. HND Holders:
    • Candidates with a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Social Sciences, Sciences, or Management Sciences are eligible.
    • Must also possess five (5) O’Level credits, including English Language and Mathematics.
  3. Mature Candidates:
    • Applicants with relevant work experience and at least three (3) O’Level credits may be considered on merit.

Method of Application

Interested applicants should:

  1. Obtain the application form from the Workforce Planning and Recruitment Unit, MRC Building, LASUTH.
  2. Submit the completed form with:
    • Photocopies of academic credentials,
    • Curriculum Vitae (CV),
    • Two (2) recent passport photographs (white background), and
    • Any other relevant documents.

A Computer-Based Test (CBT) will be conducted at LASUTH for screening. Successful applicants will later present their original certificates during the oral interview stage.

Closing Date

The deadline for submitting application forms is six (6) weeks from the date of publication, running from 4th November to 18th December 2025.
