Jimoh Babalola University (JBU), Ilorin, Kwara State, has opened applications for Direct Entry admission into the Bachelor of Community Health Science (BCHS) programme for the 2026/2027 academic session.

The admission is strictly into 200 Level and is targeted at qualified community health professionals seeking to upgrade their qualifications and advance their careers within the healthcare sector.

The BCHS programme at JBU is structured to produce skilled community health practitioners with strong academic grounding, leadership capacity, and hands-on clinical competence.

Who Is Eligible?

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

 Academic Requirements

Candidates must possess a minimum of five (5) O’Level credit passes, obtained in not more than two sittings, including:

  • English Language
  • Mathematics
  • Physics
  • Chemistry
  • Biology

 Professional Qualifications

Applicants must fall into one of the following categories:

  • ND Community Health graduates with a valid ND Certificate or Statement of Result
  • Community Health Extension Workers (CHEW) with a valid professional practicing licence
