UNILAG

The University of Lagos (UNILAG) has announced the successful completion of its 2025/2026 Post-UTME online screening assessment, which was held from September 1 to 4, 2025. A total of 20,464 candidates participated in the exercise as part of the university’s admission process for the upcoming academic session.

However, the university regrets to inform the public that some candidates were found to have engaged in acts of examination malpractice, which go against the stipulated guidelines for the screening.

In line with UNILAG’s firm zero-tolerance policy on malpractice, such candidates will face appropriate disciplinary measures. Based on the outcome of ongoing investigations and review processes, those involved will be declared ineligible for admission into the institution for the 2025/2026 academic session.

The university has assured all stakeholders that its official communication channels remain open for inquiries and clarifications regarding the screening exercise and admission process.

Furthermore, the University of Lagos has reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to maintaining the integrity and credibility of its admission procedures. Candidates are urged to always adhere strictly to all laid-down rules and regulations to avoid jeopardising their academic future.

For further information, students and parents are advised to visit the official UNILAG website or contact the admissions office through approved channels only.
