GOMSU Post-UTME/DE Screening 2025/2026: Cut-Off Marks, Eligibility & Registration Guide

Gombe State University (GOMSU) has announced the commencement of its Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) online screening for the 2025/2026 academic session. The registration will run from Monday, 1st September to Friday, 19th September 2025 for candidates who selected the university as their first choice during JAMB registration.

Eligibility Criteria

• Minimum UTME score of 150 for most programmes
  
• 180 for Computer Science, Physiology, Anatomy, Pharmacology, Human Nutrition, and Dietetics
  
• 190 for Public Health
  
• 200 for Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, and Law
  

Direct Entry (DE) candidates with NCE, IJMB, A-Level GCE, or relevant Diploma qualifications in their chosen course are also eligible to apply.

Registration Procedure

1. Visit the university portal: gsu-edu.com/admission
   
2. Enter your JAMB Registration Number and click “Get Details.”
   
3. Pay the non-refundable screening fee of ₦2,000 online via ATM/Debit/Credit card, bank transfer, USSD, or Visa QR.
   
4. Fill the form to create your UTME/DE screening account.
   
5. Click Register to confirm your details.
   
6. Generate your Data Form.
   
7. Download the generated PDF (two pages):
   
   • Page 1: Candidate’s registration details
     
   • Page 2: Post-UTME CBT Exam Card
     
8. Print both pages, attach photocopies of credentials to page 1, and bring them along with original documents for physical screening.
   

Important Notes

• Changes to state of origin, LGA, or date of birth will not be entertained after registration.
  
• Ensure your O’Level results are uploaded to JAMB CAPS before the screening.
