The Federal University of Technology, Minna (FUTMINNA) has officially announced the schedule for its 38th Matriculation Ceremony, marking the formal induction of newly admitted students for the 2025/2026 academic session.
The announcement, released through the Office of the Registrar, confirms that the ceremony will hold on Monday, 16 February 2026. The event represents a significant milestone for fresh students, as it formally integrates them into the university community.

To accommodate students and invited guests, the university has scheduled both a rehearsal and the main ceremony at its main campus in Gidan Kwano.

All matriculating students must be seated in full academic regalia by 9:30 a.m. on the day of the ceremony to allow for the formal academic procession.
Why the Rehearsal Is Important
FUTMINNA has emphasized that attendance at the rehearsal is mandatory. The session is designed to guide students through:

- Proper conduct during the entry of the university mace (symbol of authority)
