FUT Minna Unveils Full Schedule for Its 34th Graduation and Founders’ Celebration

The Federal University of Technology, Minna (FUT Minna) has formally announced the timetable for its 34th Convocation Ceremony, which will also coincide with the institution’s 43rd Founders’ Day commemoration for the 2024/2025 academic session.

Speaking on behalf of the University’s Governing Council, Senate, staff, and student body, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Faruk Adamu Kuta, extended an open invitation to the public to join in celebrating the academic accomplishments of graduating students and the university’s continued growth over the years.

The series of events will feature the formal awarding of degrees, diplomas, postgraduate diplomas, and higher degrees, along with the recognition of outstanding graduates through special prizes and honors.

A Week of Activities to Mark the Occasion

The university has mapped out a multi-day program across its campuses in Gidan Kwano and Bosso, combining academic tradition, cultural reflection, and community engagement.

Essential Guidelines for Graduating Students

To ensure a smooth and well-coordinated ceremony, the university has issued the following instructions to all graduands.

Official Payments

All required fees must be paid directly into the university’s designated TSA account:

  • Account Name: Federal University of Technology, Minna (TSA)
  • Account Number: 0190472161017
  • Bank: Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN)

Documents Needed for Certificate Collection

Students must present the following before their certificates can be released:

  • Original Statement of Result (where applicable)
  • Fully signed Final-Year Clearance Form
  • Final-Year ID Card or an official identification letter from the Students’ Affairs Division

Invitation Cards and Academic Gowns

  • These items will be issued by the Secretaries of each School
  • Collection begins: Monday, 26 January 2026
Return of Gowns

Academic gowns must be returned immediately after the ceremony.
Certificates will not be released until the gown is handed back.
Any damage to the gown may result in a financial penalty.
