The Federal University of Lafia (FULAFIA) has officially released the registration timetable for the 2025/2026 academic session. The announcement came after the University Senate approved the schedule during its 97th regular meeting, held on Thursday, October 30, 2025.

According to the updated academic calendar, both newly admitted and returning students are expected to begin their registration online ahead of the new session. The University Management emphasized that all students must complete their registration through the official FULAFIA online portal before the official resumption date.

Online and Physical Learning at FULAFIA

In line with its commitment to academic flexibility, FULAFIA will adopt a hybrid learning system for the 2025/2026 academic session. The first six weeks of lectures will be conducted virtually, allowing students to attend classes from the comfort of their homes.

This approach ensures a seamless start to the semester while minimizing delays and accommodating students from various locations. Lectures and materials will be made available through FULAFIA’s online learning platform.

By January 2026, physical lectures will commence on campus. During this phase, students will participate in classroom-based learning, laboratory work, and other practical sessions to ensure a comprehensive educational experience.

Hostel Accommodation and Campus Resumption

The University has also announced that the hostel accommodation portal will officially open in the first week of January 2026. Students interested in securing campus housing are advised to log in to the University’s official website and apply early once the portal becomes active.

This measure aims to provide sufficient time for allocation and ensure a smooth transition from virtual to on-campus learning.

The FULAFIA Management has urged all students to strictly follow the approved registration schedule. Completing all registration processes early will help avoid late penalties and ensure full access to online classes and campus facilities.
