The management of the Federal University of Technology, Ikot-Abasi (FUTIA) wishes to inform all candidates who participated in the 2025/2026 admission screening exercise that the provisional admission list has officially been released.
All prospective students are hereby advised to check their admission status via the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) portal. This announcement marks an important milestone for candidates who have been eagerly awaiting their admission status.
How to Check FUTIA Admission Status on JAMB CAPS
Follow the step-by-step guide below to confirm your admission:
- Visit the official JAMB CAPS portal: https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/
- Log in with your registered email address and password to access your dashboard.
- Click on “Check Admission Status.”
- Select “Access my CAPS.”
- Click on “Admission Status” to see if you have been offered admission.
If you have been admitted, a congratulatory message will appear with your photo displayed. However, if you are yet to be admitted, you will receive a message saying “Sorry, No Admission has been Given Yet.”
Next Steps for Admitted Candidates
- Accept or reject your admission by sending ACCEPT or REJECT as an SMS to 55019 or 66019 using the phone number linked to your JAMB profile.
- Print your JAMB Admission Letter immediately after accepting your admission, as this will be required during clearance and registration at FUTIA.
- Candidates are given four (4) weeks to accept their admission offer; failure to do so may result in forfeiture of the admission.
