The University of Delta (UNIDEL) has officially released the admission list for the 2025/2026 academic session. Candidates who applied for admission are urged to check their status on the JAMB CAPS portal and promptly respond to their offers. How to Check Your UNIDEL Admission Status Follow these steps to confirm your admission: Visit the JAMB E-Facility portal. Log in using your JAMB email and password. Select “Check Admission Status”. Click on “Access my CAPS”. Click “Admission Status” to see if you have been offered admission by UNIDEL. After Seeing Your Admission Offer If admitted: Send ACCEPT or REJECT via SMS to 55019 or 66019 using the phone number linked to your JAMB profile. Print your JAMB Admission Letter immediately — it’s essential for clearance. If not admitted yet: Your status may show “Admission Still in Progress” or “Not Admitted”. Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka, has commenced the sale of Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) forms for the 2025/2026 academic session. If you selected DELSU as your first choice in JAMB and scored 150 or above, you are eligible to apply.

Latest Update – Application Deadline Extended

In response to numerous appeals from candidates awaiting their NECO results, the management has extended the application deadline:

  • Original closing date: Sunday, August 31, 2025
  • New deadline: Sunday, September 7, 2025 (midnight)

This is the final extension, and candidates are advised to make use of this opportunity.

Who Can Apply?

  • UTME candidates: Must score 150 or higher and have DELSU as their first choice.
  • Direct Entry candidates: Must possess NCE, OND, HND, A-levels, or a first degree in relevant subjects.
  • Candidates intending to change their first choice to DELSU must do so on the JAMB portal before September 7, 2025.

Important: All applicants must upload their O’Level results to the JAMB portal. Failure to do so will make them ineligible for admission.

How to Apply for DELSU Post-UTME/DE

  1. Visit the DELSU student portal.
  2. Click POST UTME 2025/2026.
  3. Click Start Form and enter your JAMB Registration Number.
  4. Complete the form and log in to make payment.
  5. Input your O’Level subjects, guardian’s details, and upload your passport photograph.
  6. Click Submit.
  7. Print your acknowledgment slip and keep it safe.
