The Benue State University of Agriculture, Science and Technology (BSUAST), established by the Government of Benue State in 2024 and officially licensed by the National Universities Commission (NUC) in 2025, has commenced admission into its one-year Pre-Science/Remedial Programme for the 2025/2026 academic session.
The university was founded with a vision to offer multidisciplinary education across fields such as Agriculture, Agribusiness, Sciences, Computing, Innovation, Technology, Basic Medical Sciences, Clinical Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Engineering, Veterinary Medicine, and Allied Health Sciences. This Pre-Science/Remedial programme serves as a gateway for prospective students seeking admission into various Bachelor’s degree programmes across its specialized schools.

Entry Requirements
Applicants must possess a minimum of four (4) O’Level credit passes in WASSCE, SSCE, GCE, or equivalent examinations. Required subjects include English Language, Mathematics/Further Mathematics, Chemistry/Physics, and Biology/Agricultural Science.
