The Association of Veterinary Medical Students (AVMS) at Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU) has officially released the schedule for mandatory physical registration for returning students in the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine for the 2025/2026 academic session.

A notice signed by the Secretary General, Alfa Muhammad Gambo, on behalf of AVMS President Hassan Abdulkadir Adamu, instructs all returning students to complete their departmental and course registration manually at the faculty secretariat.

Registration Schedule

• Start Date: Monday, January 19, 2026
  
• Time: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM daily
  
• Venue: AVMS Secretariat, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, ATBU
  

Documents Required for Registration

To complete the registration process, students must present the following:

1. One (1) green file jacket
   
2. One (1) recent passport photograph
   
3. Photocopy of the AVMS official receipt (association dues will be collected on-site)
   
4. Photocopy of the completed course registration form
   

Important: Registration will not be processed unless the first three items above are fully submitted.

Registration Process

• Course registration will be carried out manually at the AVMS Secretariat.
  
• The course registration form will be issued once the Faculty Board approves the courses.
  
• After completion, the forms must be signed and validated by the Faculty Exams Officer.
  

Students are strongly advised to comply with all the requirements to ensure a smooth registration process and avoid delays.
