ASCOEA Announces Resumption Date for NCE and Degree Students (2025/2026)

Aminu Saleh College of Education, Azare (ASCOEA) has officially confirmed the resumption arrangements for the 2025/2026 academic session. The announcement provides clear guidance on when students are expected back on campus, along with registration timelines and lecture commencement dates for both NCE and degree (undergraduate) programmes.

Students are advised to take these dates seriously, as failure to comply may lead to penalties or loss of the session.

Official Resumption Date

The college will reopen for academic activities on:

 Monday, 5 January 2026

From this date, registration will begin for both fresh and returning students across all programmes.

Resumption Details for NCE Students

Students enrolled in the NCE programme should take note of the following schedule:

  • Normal Registration:
    5 January – 17 January 2026
  • Late Registration:
    19 January – 24 January 2026
  • Lecture Period:
    19 January – 30 April 2026

NCE students are encouraged to complete registration within the normal window to avoid extra charges or complications.

Resumption Details for Degree (Undergraduate) Students

For students in the degree programmes, the approved timeline is as follows:

  • Normal Registration:
    5 January – 26 January 2026
  • Late Registration:
    26 January – 2 February 2026
  • Lecture Period:
    12 January – 18 April 2026

Degree students should ensure their registration is completed before the deadline, as extensions will not be taken lightly.

Late Registration and Penalties

Students who fail to register within the normal registration period but complete the process during the late registration window will be required to pay a late registration fee of ₦5,000.

However, students who miss both the normal and late registration periods will be required to defer the academic session, which may affect graduation timelines. Early action is strongly advised.

Admission Letter Collection

Admission letters for both NCE and degree students will be available for collection from the Admissions and Registration Office starting from:

 Monday, 5 January 2026

Students are advised to collect their letters promptly. Complaints raised after the close of registration will not be considered.
