The Alvan Ikoku Federal University of Education, Owerri, has officially released its admission list for the 2025/2026 academic session. Candidates who participated in the admission screening exercise can now check their admission status online through the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS).
How to Check Alvan Ikoku Admission Status
Follow these steps carefully to confirm your admission:
- Visit the JAMB eFacility portal: https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng
- Log in using your registered email address and password.
- Click on “Check Admission Status.”
- Select “Access my CAPS.”
- Click “Admission Status” to view your offer.
If admitted, your photo and a congratulatory message will appear. If you are yet to be admitted, you will see: “Sorry, no admission has been given yet.”
Next Steps for Admitted Candidates
- To accept or reject the admission, send ACCEPT or REJECT to 55019 or 66019 using the phone number linked to your JAMB profile.
- You have four weeks to accept your admission. Candidates without access to their registered phone numbers should visit a JAMB-accredited centre to complete this process.
- After accepting, print your JAMB admission letter, as it will be required during clearance and registration at the university.
Important Note for Mobile Users
If you are checking with a mobile phone and cannot see the Admission Status option, switch to desktop mode (Google Chrome recommended). Simply tap the three dots at the top right corner and select “Request Desktop Site.”
