Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU), Ikot Akpaden, has secured formal approval from the National Universities Commission (NUC) to begin admitting students into newly introduced undergraduate programmes under its Faculty of Health Sciences starting from the 2025/2026 academic session.
The approval, officially communicated in a letter dated December 23, 2025, authorises the University to offer several health-related degree programmes on a full-time basis.

- Akwa Ibom State University must be selected as First Choice during the 2025 UTME
- Minimum UTME score for Nursing Science: 290
