The management of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria has officially released the Post-UTME screening results for the 2025/2026 academic session. All candidates who took part in the screening exercise can now check their results online via the ABU portal.
In addition, the university has issued important admission-related instructions that all candidates must carefully note.
Key Instructions to Candidates
- Upload of O’Level Results: Some uploaded certificates/results may drop off the JAMB portal. Candidates are advised to check their JAMB CAPS to confirm that their O’Level results are intact. Admission will not be processed without uploaded results.
- Programme Change: The university plans to conclude the admission exercise by October 2025. Candidates who wish to change their course/programme are advised to do so immediately to avoid delays.
- Wrong JAMB Combinations: Candidates with incorrect JAMB subject combinations should promptly change to the appropriate available programmes to avoid complications during registration.
- DE Candidates: The screening portal will remain open for Direct Entry candidates until the end of the admission exercise.
How to Check ABU Post-UTME Result 2025/2026
Follow the steps below to access your result:
- Visit the ABU Post-UTME portal http://putme.abu.edu.ng/
- Locate the Login Area on the right side of the page.
- Enter your JAMB Registration Number in the required column.
- Select your State of Origin.
- Click “Login”.
- Go to the Notification Menu to view your score and aggregate.
