Abia State University (ABSU) Admission List for 2025/2026 Academic Session Released

The management of Abia State University (ABSU) has officially released the first batch admission list for the 2025/2026 academic session. This list contains the names of successful candidates offered provisional admission into various undergraduate programmes of the university.

All candidates who participated in the ABSU admission screening exercise are advised to proceed to the school’s admission portal to confirm their admission status.

 How to Check ABSU Admission List 2025/2026

Follow the steps below to check your admission status:

1. Visit the ABSU official portal:
    https://portal.abiastateuniversity.edu.ng/Applicant/Admission/CheckStatus
   
2. Log in using your JAMB Registration Number and other required details.
   
3. Click on “Check Status” to view your admission information.
   
4. Print your ABSU Offer of Admission immediately after confirmation.
   

After confirming your admission, kindly proceed to the JAMB CAPS portal to:

• Accept your admission offer, and
  
• Print your JAMB Admission Letter for record purposes.
  

 Payment of Acceptance Fees

After accepting your admission, report to the Admissions Office at the University’s main campus in Uturu to collect your Acceptance-of-Offer Slip and proceed to make all necessary payments.

Payments can be made through any of the following designated banks:

•  First Bank Plc
  
•  Signature Bank
  
•  Zenith Bank Plc
  
•  Fidelity Bank Plc
  
•  Union Bank Plc
  
•  UBA Plc
  
•  Or via bank debit cards on the school’s payment portal.
  

 Important Notice:
Any offer of admission not accepted on or before Friday, 31st October 2025 will be considered lapsed. Candidates and their sponsors are therefore advised to complete the process early to avoid forfeiture.
