The University of Abuja (UNIABUJA) invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into its one-year Remedial Science Programme for the 2025/2026 academic session.

This programme is designed to prepare students for seamless entry into undergraduate science-based degree courses at UNIABUJA.

Admission Requirements

To be eligible, candidates must have five (5) O’Level credits, including:

• Physics
  
• Chemistry
  
• Biology or Agricultural Science
  
• English Language
  
• Mathematics
  

Acceptable exam bodies: WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or GCE.

Programme Duration

The Remedial Science Programme runs for one academic session (2025/2026).

During this period, students will:

• Undergo intensive lectures and practicals.
  
• Write and pass two-semester remedial examinations.
  
• Meet the JAMB UTME cut-off mark for UNIABUJA.
  
• Successfully register and sit for Post-UTME.
  

Upon meeting these conditions, candidates can be admitted into science-related undergraduate programmes in the University.

How to Apply (Step-by-Step Guide)

Interested candidates should complete their application online via the University portal: portal.uniabuja.edu.ng.

Steps:

1. Visit portal.uniabuja.edu.ng.
   
2. Select New Application → choose Remedial.
   
3. Fill in the required details (ensure you use a valid email and phone number).
   
4. Generate a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) and make payment of ₦15,000 (non-refundable).
   
   • Pay via bank branch OR debit card online.
     
5. After payment, log in with your Form Number (username) and Surname (password).
   
6. Complete the application form online.
   
7. Print the completed form and payment receipt.
   
8. Submit the form with the required documents.
