The Jigawa State College of Education, Gumel has announced the schedule for its NCE screening exercise for the 2025/2026 academic session. All prospective applicants are hereby invited to participate in the mandatory screening exercise.
Eligibility for Screening
- Candidates must have scored 100 and above in the 2025/2026 UTME.
- Applicants are strongly advised to choose Jigawa State College of Education, Gumel as their first-choice institution on JAMB CAPS to enjoy added benefits such as:

Screening Date, Venue & Time
- Date: Screening begins on Monday, September 22, 2025.
- Venue: Schools within the Jigawa State College of Education, Gumel campus.
- Time: From 10:00AM daily (weekdays only).
Required Documents for Screening
All applicants must present both original copies and photocopies of the following:
- JAMB Result Slip
- O’Level Result(s)
- Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age
- Certificate of State of Origin/Indigene
- Any other relevant academic credentials
Screening Fee & Payment
- Successful candidates are required to pay a non-refundable acceptance fee of ₦3,000.

Important Information
- Attendance at the screening exercise is compulsory for all applicants.
- Candidates who fail to attend will not be considered for admission.
- Applicants should ensure all required documents are complete to avoid disqualification.
