The management of Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH), formerly Lagos State Polytechnic, invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into its Pre-Degree Programme in Arts, Science, Engineering, and Social Sciences for the 2025/2026 academic session.
Programme Overview
The LASUSTECH Pre-Degree Programme is designed to prepare candidates for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and eventual admission into the 100-Level degree programmes of the university. The programme runs for eight months (two semesters) and offers intensive academic training.
Eligibility Criteria
- O’Level Requirements: Minimum of five credits at one or two sittings, including English Language. Subject-specific requirements apply to Arts, Sciences, and Social Sciences.
- Awaiting Results: Candidates awaiting WAEC/NECO results may apply.
- Credit-Deficient Candidates: Applicants with at least three credits may also apply, but must register and pass WAEC/NECO before completing the programme.
Admission into 100-Level
At the end of the Pre-Degree Programme, candidates must:
- Sit for the 2026 UTME.
- Obtain the Minimum Tolerable Score (MTS) required by LASUSTECH.
- Satisfy all departmental and university admission requirements.

- Pay a non-refundable fee of ₦15,000 online.
- Complete the online application form.
- Submit the printed form with relevant documents (academic transcripts, birth certificate, etc.) to the Pre-Degree Office, LASUSTECH, Ikorodu.
Note: Shortlisted candidates may be invited for a qualifying examination.
