The management of Igbinedion University, Okada (IUO) has officially released the admission list for the 2025/2026 academic session. All candidates who took part in the university’s admission screening exercise can now check their admission status on the JAMB CAPS portal.
How to Check Igbinedion University Admission Status on JAMB CAPS
Follow the steps below to confirm your admission:
- Visit https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/
- Log in with your registered email address and password.
- Click on “Check Admission Status”.
- Select “Access my CAPS”.
- Click on “Admission Status” to see if you have been offered admission.
If admitted, your details and a congratulatory message will appear. If not yet admitted, you may see “Sorry, No Admission has been Given Yet.”
Next Steps for Admitted Candidates
- Accept or reject the admission by sending ACCEPT or REJECT to 55019 or 66019 via the phone number linked to your JAMB profile.
- After accepting, proceed to print your admission letter, which will be required during clearance and registration at Igbinedion University.
- Candidates have 4 weeks to accept their admission offer. Failure to do so may result in withdrawal of the offer.
Important Note for Mobile Users:
If you are checking CAPS with a phone and cannot see the full page, switch to desktop mode (recommended browser: Chrome). Simply open the options menu and select “Request Desktop Site” to view all functions.
