The University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) has officially released its admission list for the 2025/2026 academic session. All candidates who took part in the UNIMAID admission screening exercise can now check their admission status online via the JAMB CAPS portal.
How to Check UNIMAID Admission Status on JAMB CAPS
Follow the steps below to confirm if you have been offered provisional admission:
- Visit the JAMB CAPS portal via https://www.jamb.gov.ng/Efacility
- Log in using your registered email address and password.
- Click on “Check Admission Status”.
- Select “Access my CAPS”.
- Click on “Admission Status” to see if you have been offered admission.
Important Instructions for Admitted Candidates
- If offered admission, proceed to accept or reject your offer on JAMB CAPS.
- To do this, simply send ACCEPT or REJECT via SMS to 55019 or 66019 using the phone number you registered with JAMB.
- Candidates whose status shows “Admission Still in Progress” or “Not Admitted” are advised to keep checking regularly, as the admission process is still ongoing.
