The Federal University of Medicine and Medical Sciences, Abeokuta (FUMMSA), Ogun State, has officially published its 2025/2026 academic session admission list. This is a significant announcement for all candidates who participated in the institution’s screening exercise and have been anticipating their admission status.

The list of successfully admitted candidates is now accessible via the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) portal. Candidates are therefore advised to check their status and take the next steps promptly.

Steps to Check FUMMSA Admission Status on JAMB CAPS

  1. Visit the official JAMB CAPS portal: https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/.
  2. Log in using the email address and password associated with your JAMB profile.
  3. Click on ‘Check Admission Status.’
  4. Proceed to ‘Access my CAPS’ to open your dashboard.
  5. Click on ‘Admission Status’ to see if your admission has been offered.

Once admitted, your photo and a congratulatory message will be displayed. If you have not yet been offered admission, you will receive a message such as “Sorry, no admission has been given yet.”

Accepting or Rejecting Your Admission

Candidates who receive an admission offer must either ACCEPT or REJECT it. This can be done by sending ACCEPT or REJECT as an SMS to 55019 or 66019 using the phone number registered with your JAMB profile. Those without access to their registered numbers should visit any JAMB-accredited centre for assistance.

It is essential to accept your admission within four weeks to avoid forfeiting the offer. After acceptance, proceed to print your JAMB Admission Letter, as it will be required during clearance and registration at FUMMSA.
