The University on the Niger (UNINIGER), Umunya, Anambra State, has officially released the list of candidates who have been offered provisional admission for the 2025/2026 academic session. All candidates who participated in the university’s admission screening exercise are advised to check their admission status via the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS).
How to Check UNINIGER Admission Status on JAMB CAPS
To verify your admission status, follow these steps carefully:
- Visit the JAMB CAPS portal via https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/.
- Log in using your registered email address and password.
- Click on “Check Admission Status.”
- Select “Access my CAPS.”
- Click on “Admission Status” to see if your admission has been offered.
- If admitted, your profile picture will appear alongside a congratulatory message.
- If not yet admitted, you will see: “Sorry, No Admission Has Been Given Yet.”
Accepting or Rejecting Admission
Candidates offered admission must indicate their decision by sending ACCEPT or REJECT as an SMS to 55019 or 66019 using the phone number linked to their JAMB profile.
Those without access to their registered phone number must visit any JAMB-accredited centre to perform this action. Candidates have four (4) weeks from the date of admission to respond, or the offer may lapse.
Important Notes
- After accepting admission, print your JAMB Admission Letter, as it will be required during clearance and registration at the university.
- Mobile phone users may face challenges viewing the full page on CAPS. If so, switch to desktop mode (Chrome browser recommended) and select “Request Desktop Site.”
