
Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka, has commenced the sale of Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) forms for the 2025/2026 academic session. If you selected DELSU as your first choice in JAMB and scored 150 or above, you are eligible to apply.
Latest Update – Application Deadline Extended
In response to numerous appeals from candidates awaiting their NECO results, the management has extended the application deadline:
- Original closing date: Sunday, August 31, 2025
- New deadline: Sunday, September 7, 2025 (midnight)
This is the final extension, and candidates are advised to make use of this opportunity.
Who Can Apply?
- UTME candidates: Must score 150 or higher and have DELSU as their first choice.
- Direct Entry candidates: Must possess NCE, OND, HND, A-levels, or a first degree in relevant subjects.
- Candidates intending to change their first choice to DELSU must do so on the JAMB portal before September 7, 2025.
Important: All applicants must upload their O’Level results to the JAMB portal. Failure to do so will make them ineligible for admission.

- Start date: Thursday, July 24, 2025
- Closing date: Sunday, September 7, 2025 (midnight)
How to Apply for DELSU Post-UTME/DE
- Visit the DELSU student portal.
- Click POST UTME 2025/2026.
- Click Start Form and enter your JAMB Registration Number.
- Complete the form and log in to make payment.
- Input your O’Level subjects, guardian’s details, and upload your passport photograph.
- Click Submit.
- Print your acknowledgment slip and keep it safe.
After Application – What Next?
- DELSU will contact you via the email and phone number used during registration.
- Ensure your contact details are active and accessible.
Quick Notes for Applicants
- Upload your O’Level results to the JAMB portal.
- Avoid result forgery or false information; it leads to automatic disqualification.
- The application closes by midnight on September 7, 2025. No further extensions will be granted.
