Bayero University Kano Begins 2025/2026 Online Screening for Newly Admitted Students

Bayero University Kano (BUK) begins the commencement of its online screening exercise for newly admitted undergraduate students for the 2025/2026 academic session.

The screening process will officially start on Monday, 2 March 2026. All admitted candidates are expected to carefully follow the outlined steps to ensure a smooth and successful screening.

Screening Guidelines and Procedures

Step 1: Confirm Admission with JAMB

Candidates must first accept their admission offer on the JAMB portal and print their JAMB Admission Letter. This confirmation is mandatory before proceeding to the university screening portal.

Step 2: Access the Screening Portal

Students are required to log in through the official screening platform at:
https://mybuk2.buk.edu.ng/myScreening

Step 3: Download Required Documents

After logging in, candidates should download the following documents:

  • BUK Admission Letter
  • Undertaking Form
  • University Health Services Registration Form

Step 4: Generate and Pay Acceptance Fee

Applicants must generate and print their BUK Personalised Payment Form (BUKPPF).

An Acceptance Fee of ₦10,000 is indicated on the form. Payment must be made via the Remita e-Payments and e-Collection platform.

Candidates are strongly advised to carefully follow the payment instructions. The university will not be responsible for payment errors resulting from incorrect information entered during the process.

After payment, students should confirm their transaction by clicking the “Check Payment Status” option on the portal.

Important: All payments made are strictly non-refundable.

Step 5: Upload Required Documents (JPG Format Only)

Candidates must upload clear scanned copies of the following documents in JPG format, with each file not exceeding 1MB:

  • JAMB Result Slip
  • JAMB Admission Letter
  • O’Level Result
  • A’Level Result (Direct Entry candidates only)
  • Any other relevant supporting documents

Please note:

  • Blurry or unclear uploads may be rejected.
  • Candidates will be required to re-upload documents if they do not meet the specified standards.
  • Approval of uploaded documents may take some time.

For complaints or inquiries, students are advised to use the message box feature located on the right-hand side of the screening portal.

Step 6: Print Acknowledgement Slip

Upon successful completion of the screening steps, candidates should print the Acknowledgement Slip, which contains further instructions regarding registration and documentation.

All newly admitted students are encouraged to complete the online screening promptly and ensure they strictly comply with the provided instructions to avoid unnecessary delays.
