Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma, has announced a change in the date for its 2025/2026 matriculation ceremony.
The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Mrs. Eunice Eboserehimen Omonzejie, acting on behalf of the University Senate, approved the postponement of the ceremony, which was previously fixed for Wednesday, 25 February 2026.
Reason for the Adjustment
According to the university management, the decision was made to allow newly admitted students enough time to complete their clearance procedures.
Students offered provisional admission are expected to finalize their documentation and obtain their official matriculation numbers before participating in the ceremony. Since the matriculation number is a key requirement for formal induction into the university, the extension ensures that no eligible student is left out.
Revised Date and Venue
The matriculation ceremony has now been rescheduled as follows:
- Date: Wednesday, 18 March 2026
- Time: 10:00 a.m.
- Venue: Student International Conference Centre
All affected students are advised to use this period to complete outstanding registration and clearance processes to qualify for participation in the event.
Further updates, if any, will be communicated through the university’s official channels.
