Applications are now being accepted for the Connect NextGen Hackathon 2026, a national innovation programme powered by Ericsson in partnership with the Federal Government of Nigeria and Tech Revolution Africa.

The initiative is designed to discover and accelerate promising early-stage Nigerian startups developing technology-driven solutions to tackle critical challenges across Africa.

Selected teams will participate in a structured hackathon followed by an acceleration phase aimed at refining ideas into scalable, sustainable businesses.

Programme Overview

The Connect NextGen Hackathon goes beyond a typical coding competition. It offers an ecosystem of support that includes mentorship, investor exposure, and collaboration opportunities with industry leaders and policymakers.

Startups chosen for the programme will undergo an intensive 8-week acceleration journey, receiving guidance on business growth, product development, and market expansion.

After submission, applicants will receive a confirmation email. All entries will undergo review, and only shortlisted startups will be contacted for the next phase of the programme.
