The management of Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro has officially released the Provisional Admission List for the 2025/2026 academic session. All candidates who participated in the admission screening exercise can now check their admission status via the JAMB CAPS portal.
How to Check Your Admission Status
The list of admitted candidates has been uploaded on the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS). Follow the steps below:
- Go to the JAMB CAPS portal and log in with your registered email and password.
- Select “Check Admission Status.”
- Click “Access my CAPS.”
- Tap “Admission Status” to view your result.
- If offered admission, your photo will appear with a congratulatory message.
- If not, you will see: “Sorry, No Admission Has Been Given Yet.”
After Checking Your Status
- To accept or reject the admission, send ACCEPT or REJECT as an SMS to 55019 or 66019 using the phone number linked to your JAMB profile.
- If your registered phone number is no longer active, visit a JAMB-accredited centre to complete the process.
- You have 4 weeks to accept the offer of admission.
Once you have accepted your admission, ensure you print your JAMB Admission Letter, as this will be required for clearance and registration at the institution.
Important Tip for Mobile Users
If you are checking your admission on a mobile device and cannot see the full CAPS interface, switch to Desktop Mode by selecting “Request Desktop Site” in the Google Chrome browser.
