UNICAL Announces Final Deadline for 2025/2026 Registration Portal

The University of Calabar (UNICAL) has issued a final reminder for students to complete registration for the 2025/2026 academic session. Following requests from the Students’ Union Government (SUG) and other university stakeholders, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), Prof. Ekaette Enang, approved a final extension for students who have not yet completed their course registration.

The management emphasized that the portal will close strictly at 12:00 midnight on Sunday, February 1, 2026, and no further extensions will be granted.

  • Registration Portal Closes: Sunday, February 1, 2026, at 12:00 midnight
  • Start of Most Examinations: Monday, February 16, 2026
  • GSS Exam Dates for 100 Level : To be announced

What Students Need to Do

Students who have not yet registered their courses are strongly advised to use this final opportunity to complete the process. UNICAL warns that failure to register before the deadline may prevent students from participating in upcoming exams.
