Lagos State University, through its professional arm, LASU Consult Limited, in collaboration with the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), has officially launched the application process for its Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in Hospital Administration and Management for the 2025/2026 academic year.

The programme is tailored for individuals seeking to build or advance careers in healthcare leadership, policy coordination, and hospital operations within both public and private health institutions.

About the Programme

This one-year postgraduate diploma is designed to develop practical and managerial competencies required for the effective administration of healthcare facilities. Participants will gain exposure to hospital systems, health service management, organizational leadership, and operational planning in clinical environments.

Who Can Apply?

The programme is open to applicants from a wide range of academic and professional backgrounds. Eligible candidates include:

  • University graduates in Medicine, Nursing, Public Health, Pharmacy, Sciences, Humanities, or Social Sciences from recognized institutions, with a minimum of five O’Level credits, including English Language and Mathematics
  • Holders of Higher National Diplomas (HND) in Social Sciences, Sciences, or Management-related fields who meet the same O’Level requirements
  • Mature professionals with relevant work experience and at least three O’Level credits, who can demonstrate readiness for postgraduate-level training

  • Application Fee: ₦10,000 (Ten Thousand Naira only)

Selection Process

Shortlisted applicants will be invited to participate in a Computer-Based Test (CBT) to be conducted at LASUTH. Candidates who perform successfully will proceed to an oral interview, during which they must present their original credentials for verification.
