Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), Ago-Iwoye, has officially released the full programme and guidelines for its 35th Convocation Ceremony, marking the conclusion of the 2024/2025 academic session.
The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Ayodeji Agboola, on behalf of the University Council, Senate, staff, and students, has extended an open invitation to graduands, parents, alumni, and members of the public to attend the ceremonies scheduled to hold at the Main Campus, Ago-Iwoye.
Convocation Dates and Venue
The convocation activities will span ten days, beginning and ending as follows:
- Start date: Thursday, 22 January 2026
- End date: Saturday, 31 January 2026
- Venue: Main Campus, Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye

Fees Payable by Graduands
Graduands are required to complete payment before collecting academic gowns.
Bachelor’s Degree
- Clearance, certificate & memorabilia (folder, muffler, lapel, transcript): ₦85,000
- Total payable: ₦85,000
PGD / Master’s Degree
- Clearance, certificate & memorabilia: ₦60,000
- Total payable: ₦60,000
PhD Degree
- Clearance, certificate & memorabilia: ₦65,000
- Academic gown: ₦60,000
- Total payable: ₦125,000
Academic Gown Collection and Return
- Gown collection begins: Wednesday, 21 January 2026
- Collection point: Respective College or Faculty Offices
Gown Return Deadline
- Final return date: Wednesday, 4 February 2026
Failure to return the gown by this date will attract strict sanctions, including a ₦6,000 weekly penalty until the gown is returned.
Important Seating Notice
All graduands and invited guests are expected to be seated by 9:00 a.m. on each ceremony day to ensure a smooth and orderly event.
